This is a picturesque virgin island lying between Lemnos, Lesvos and Skyros.
Its only settlement is Ai-Stratis (St. Stratis), in the northwestern part of the island, named after Saint Efstratios who lived and died there in exile.
Apart from the village beach there are other virgin coasts accessble by caique. In the summer one can easily rent a room and enjoy fresh fish in cafes and little tavernas.
